Connect a custom domain
Put your event page, or your organisation's console, on your own hostname.
Two kinds
An organisation domain (for example events.yourbrand.com) serves the console your exhibitors and staff sign in to. An event domain serves one event's public page. Both are in every package.
Steps
- Organisation settings → Domain for your organisation, or the event's settings for a single event. Enter the hostname.
- Publish the TXT record you are shown at _eventgen.<your hostname>.
- Point the hostname at EventGen as instructed, then choose Verify.
Why the TXT record
A domain does nothing until that record is seen. That is what stops anybody putting your name on a sign-in page they control. Changing the domain issues a new record.
